cannabis A record 111,000 marijuana plants were seized last year from the Angeles and Los Padres national forests, and authorities are bracing for what they say could be an even bigger harvest this year. More than 6,600 plants valued at more than $16 million were found last month in two gardens northeast of La Canada-Flintridge, and officials expect to find similar, sophisticated operations in the coming months.

"There is a significant quantity of marijuana in the national forests throughout Southern California," said Kathy Good, a spokeswoman for the Los Padres National Forest.

Intellectually Bankrupt!
The fact that they think they can eradicate this plant is indicative of their intelligence levels! Their efforts are futile & even counterproductive. It is alarming that there are people in this country who are so amazingly intellectually bankrupt.

I might
At $2400 a plant, maybe two pounds to a plant, $1212 a pound, tell me who wouldn't want to get into the "bizness?"

The stupidity of the law is truly breathtaking at times.

Lie, pumping up the value of the plants, and you will encourage some to start growing.

In this what they want?

You want it, you will probably get it ...

Where's "no-exaggeration" Asa?
>>More than 6,600 plants valued at more than $16 million<<

Making each plant worth at least $2,424.24 according to my calculator... now, why would people ever want to grow this plant again??
