BISMARCK A former tribal jail employee on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation has been sentenced to a year behind bars after pleading guilty to charges of burglary and distribution of marijuana. 
The 22-year-old was convicted on charges relating to a break-in at the jail evidence room. He is accused of taking marijuana from the room and distributing it to female inmates. The incidents took place in Fort Yates last August.
