Coeur d'Alene Two men will spend a year in prison for smuggling more than 70 pounds of marijuana across the Canadian border.
Brian G. Langille, 25, and Heshem A. Rashed, 27, both of Vancouver, British Columbia, also must serve two years on probation after they are released from prison and pay $1,000 fines, U.S. District Court Judge Edward Lodge decided this week.Langille and Rashed pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute the drug, the federal attorney's office said. The men were arrested with Brock K. Baker of Spokane last Aug. 7 after they were found sleeping in a van about five miles east of the Porthill Port of Entry near the Canadian border. Baker tried unsuccessfully to escape by crashing the van through the Port of Entry into Canada, federal prosecutors said.Baker, 21, was sentenced earlier this month to 15 months in prison and three years probation, and fined $5,000 for importing marijuana.

Less, but still outragous!!
I really think it is rediculous that people are still getting in trouble for filling the requests of the public. Supply and demand is a well known Phenomena.
