cannabisnews.com: Is The Government Going To Pot? Is The Government Going To Pot? Posted by CN Staff on September 20, 2003 at 18:01:14 PT By Tim Whitnell Source: Burlington Post The federal government's efforts to decriminalize marijuana is no toke-n gesture. Bill C-38, the Cannabis Reform Bill, will be introduced in Parliament in the next few weeks. The idea of possibly not charging individuals criminally for possessing small amounts of pot could go up in smoke in the House of Commons. The Liberals seem, to me, to be sending out conflicting smoke signals. If passed, the bill would introduce softer penalties for possessing small amounts of the drug and increase penalties for growing operations. Those caught in possession of 15 grams or less of pot will be issued a ticket and not charged criminally. Police will be allowed to use discretion in deciding whether to ticket or charge a person caught possessing 15-30 grams. Fines will differ for adults and minors, yet the feds seem determined to come down much harder on grass growers. They appear to be saying, keep off the grass if you're thinking of growing it but it's OK to play in the grass a little bit if you are a smoker. Hello, but there is a direct link. The users have to get it from somewhere, whether they grow it themselves, get it from an acquaintance or buy it off 'the street'. If it's bad to be a producer, as the government maintains, then shouldn't it be wrong to use it, too? Of course, the government is a pot grower itself. Marijuana is being grown for Health Canada deep underground in a vacant mine in Flin Flon, Man. by Prairie Plant Systems on a $5.75-million contract. It's for citizens who need to alleviate pain caused by their serious physical ailments. Local resident Alison Myrden is a federal medical marijuana exemptee. Living with the debilitating effects of multiple sclerosis, for years she has urged the government to produce a reliable, affordable source of marijuana for chronic pain sufferers. On one level, I worry about the carefree, distracting effect of a drug like marijuana and how dangerous that could be for someone driving while under the influence. On another level we have to acknowledge that the damage and danger associated with producing pot is just as worrisome, especially for law enforcement personnel. Less than two weeks ago, OPP in the city of Kawartha Lakes seized $18 million worth of marijuana. What is particularly noteworthy, and scary, about this case is that when police arrived at the field they encountered six men armed with handguns and a high-powered rifle. Police say the suspects were impersonating police and were there to harvest their crop. "They were seconds from a gunfight," observed OPP deputy commissioner Vaughn Collins. Grow house has become a familiar term in Canada. These are the homes, usually rentals, that have been ravaged internally, with their floors and walls broken, windows barricaded and hydro re-routed so the pot plants can be grown under intense light. Halton police say there have already been more than a dozen grow house searches in the region this year, with almost half of those in Burlington. The sad thing is these are often family affairs with parent and child indulging in the dangerous and illegal practice. Yet he also briefly mentioned the federal grow operation in Flin Flon, Manitoba. In the government-sponsored grow, things were different. No electricity was stolen. The neighbors did not have to fear for their safety. Licenced contractors built the operation, so the risk of fire was minimal. No criminal made a dime off of the place, and nobody got shot over the profits. Now that the government has shown us that, without the criminal element involved, a marijuana grow operation is no more dangerous than the various breweries dotting the Canadian landscape, perhaps it's time for them to explain why they have kept the criminals in charge of the marijuana business for so long. When You receive the spirit of truth and You no longer read the Bible alone, what You get out of it, is for the will of God! What You receive from the Bible once You receive the spirit of truth is beyond conception. That is what I am receiving. The will of God. Who is America’s greatest ally? Who is Our greatest neighbor? It is often thought Canada is that neighbor. But now Canada is becoming Cannada by talking about decriminalizing Cannabis and that is bringing the scourge of the U.S.A. Cannada is doing what Israel should be doing. Israel is a murderous nation, plain and simple, and the last chapter of the last book says outside the gates are the murderers etc. etc. That indicates Israel is amongst the dogs, with its rebellious disobedience. (which isn't?) They do not accept Christ, because of His adamant requirement of obedience, which in no uncertain terms includes ending murder, which the Israelites have a nasty habit of! America sits by their side with the same taste for blood. With the same taste for the same blood! America coddles Israel and Israel coddles America. But they don’t just support murder. Murder comes easy to them both! What they each support that requires they each scratch each others back is perpetuating kaneh bosm prohibition! Kaneh bosm prohibition, that is cannabis prohibition is a need mutually shared in by both of those bloodthirsty heathen nations! If Israel were to speak of cannabis decriminalization, like the Cannadians, the U.S. would turn on them, like they have turned against Cannada and more. The Jews know kaneh bosm! They know the powers of cannabis. The Jews know full well what is said on the very 1st page of the Bible, and deny it, ignore it, and uphold the tree of life prohibition, because it enables them to keep cannabis away from the people. Not just their people but keep it away from people around the globe. The leaders of Israel and America are fearful of the world knowing the truth about the tree of life! They are willing to go beyond murder to keep that info away from the world. Murder may only be a distraction to them, and they will use murder of masses of people so wickedly, uphold wicked periphery. Some of this is coming to Me while starting to read Isaiah again. (In the last couple or so days, I’m in about 11:) I have read Isaiah before and always get more and more out of it. I have read Isaiah with the beginnings of the spirit of truth and now with the spirit of truth and knowing more and more who I am, I read Isaiah and am amazed to see that Isaiah is written for today and tomorrow even more than it was written for the yesterdays. The Bible is the living Bible, and becomes more and more relevant as the days pass, not less relevant. Isaiah warned of Assyria’s wickedness against Jerusalem, and now Jerusalem is like Assyria! Jews deny Christ, but they so also deny God. Jews deny God starting on the very 1st page of the Bible, when God says all the plants are good; yet prohibit the tree of life. Or do they? Do they prohibit the tree of life, but hoard it them selves? Do the U.S.A. leaders prohibit the tree of life for the masses but hoard it themselves. The tree of life does not deliver all the superpowers to those who are disobedient, yet they still hoard it to keep others from it. The concept of those who obey having the tree of life and then having the spirit of truth over them is too much to allow!!!!&! The murderers are on the outside! See Rev. 22! Notice the prophet Isaiah got insight, but further notice when He started getting that insight! Isaiah 6:5, shows Isaiah had unclean lips, ("Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.") then in Isaiah 1:6-8, notice what occurred to give Him clean lips! Isaiah 6:6-8… Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. 7 He touched my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven." Isaiah's Commission 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord,… Did Isaiah get clean by the use of kaneh bosm which was brought from the alter? Keneh bosm, still today, helps Us feel closer to God, and it enables Us to go further to do the will of Christ God Our Father. It is real. It is worth working hard to end cannabis prohibition for this reason alone! The tree of life is for the healing of the nations. The tree of life is for Us, to use for the healing of the nations. To do the will of Christ God Our Father. Cannabis prohibition is against Christ God Our Father. Cannabis prohibition is the original living sin. Obedient Christians, willing to do the works of Christ and more (John 14:12, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go the Father.”) and willing to do the will of Christ God Our Father, will work hard to end the sinful wickedness We know as cannabis prohibition! Failed clergy, Your number is now! The spirit of truth exposes the spirit of error! Let Us serve Him, the Ecologician who sent Us. NOW LET US ROCK!
