Avitar, Inc. has appointed Harvey Katzen and Greg Miller as Regional Sales Managers for the Northwest and Western Regions, respectively. They will occupy newly created positions in support of Avitar's OralScreen(tm) product, the first oral screening test for drugs of abuse. OralScreen(tm) uses saliva to test for marijuana, cocaine and opiates.
"We are delighted to welcome Harvey and Greg to Avitar. They each bring over fifteen years of sales experience in our two primary markets. Harvey's particular strength is his depth of knowledge of medical laboratories and payor pricing contracts, which provides us with inside knowledge of how screening tests are perceived and positioned within the occupational health market, " said Peter P. Phildius, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Avitar.
