Plans are now being set to bring Washington, DC the first ever outdoor festival to support hemp and the Fourth of July Hemp Coalition. It’s called "HEMPTOWN USA", and is similar to the first HEMPTOWN Demonstration held in San Francisco last year.
Get ready to step into Hemptown city limits, because the Fourth of July Hemp Coalition plans to host "HEMPTOWN USA", a two-day Educational Festival n July 2nd & 3rd, 1999 in Wilmer’s Park Md.HEMPTOWN USA features an entire town built of hemp, including the hempseed café & brewery, the real hemp paper company, the natural goods general store, The Hemp Museum, Hemptown University, The War On Drugs Memorial, and a spiritual area. Additionally more than twenty non-profit groups and Hemp companies will sponsor displays.There will be Three stages of entertainment with twenty bands, overnight camping and a variety of speakers, poets, and comedians.
