Letter To The Editor By Mike Pylar
Source: WorldNetDaily
Long after the drug war bureaucrats who persecuted him are gone and forgotten, Peter McWilliams' memory and writings will live on the hearts and minds of the people he touched with his wit and wisdom. The thoughts and beliefs contained in Peter's books have had a profound effect on many people, including myself, and his untimely and tragic passing leaves an emptiness in many of us.
I, for one, will rededicate my efforts, to seeing Peter's and our founding fathers' dreams of a free country become reality. Hopefully, those who hounded and destroyed this great American treasure will realize the horrible ramifications of their self-serving agenda and rectify this terrible abomination in American history, called the "War On Drugs." Peter, we'll miss you. Farewell, my friend. ForAHero
Hi Everyone!Yes they did MURDER Peter kaptinemo! I don't use that word lightly either. He would have been able to clear his air way if he had smoked a little marijuana. I don't know what you call what Cannabis does but it helps dry up lung secretions. Since I know about the AIDS virus I know that marijuana would have helped him. It infurates me! Please sign ForAHero's condolence web site.http://www.forahero.com/ The last I checked it had over 1300 entries and is only a few days old! Here is a picture of a banner a friend named Cryote made for me to use when I get started on the page I want to make in memory of Peter.http://www.cannabinoid.com/wwwboard/politics/binaries/27/27326.jpgPeace, FoM!

Mourn, yes, but don't forget.
Don't forget that he was *murdered*. Deliberately, with, as they say, "malice, aforethought'. The authorities in this matter knew exactly what they were trying to do. They knew his viral count was nearly nonexistant at the time of his MMJ usage. And they have documented records of that fact courtesy of their own doctors, who examined him while he was in their custody. Where the count went through the roof. All the proof any lawyer worthy of the profession would need to eviscerate any Federal goon who'd take the stand to defend the Fed's actions. The Feds killed Peter McWilliams to 'make an example' of him. It's long past time that we made some examples of our own. Not their way, but ours.As a people, we've been too willing to live and let live when it came to the predations of the DrugWarriors. The antis, on the other hand, have shown no inclination to acknowledge that restraint, choosing instead to see it as a weakness. They have no doubt been been covertly smiling and giving each other high-fives in the hallway, for having put a MMJ activist/gadfly 6 feet under. By placing each of the goons who played a role in this wanton murder of a peacable man on trial, we would be 'making an example' that no anti could ever afford to forget.

POOR PETER
Peter always said that the government was trying to kill him. I guess he was right. I for one, mourn his passing. But at least now, it seems that others are standing up and taking the banner of freedom, and the cause of medical marijuana. Hopefully, his death will not be in vain.I firmly believe that he is now in a better place and is happy, (which is probably better than where Gen. McCaffrey and friends will end up.) Rock on, Peter. We miss you.
