San Francisco, CA -- The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is pushing to close San Francisco's cannabis clubs by turning its guns on their landlords - warning them that renting to pot dispensaries could cost them their buildings. The agency intends to send letters by week's end to 80 owners of buildings housing medical marijuana clubs, similar to notices it fired off recently to landlords in Los Angeles and Sacramento, according law enforcement sources.
"By this notice, you have been made aware of the purposes for which the property is being used," said a copy of the letter sent to Sacramento landlords, signed by the special agent in charge of the DEA's San Francisco office, Javier Pena."You are further advised that violations of federal laws relating to marijuana may result in criminal prosecution, imprisonment, fines and forfeiture of assets."In other words - your building. The letters set no deadlines for owners to evict the clubs. At one time there were more than 40 cannabis clubs in San Francisco, although only 28 have applied for licenses under a city permit process that took effect in July. State law, of course, has no problem with cannabis clubs as long as they are genuinely dealing in medical marijuana, under the terms of the 1996 ballot measure Proposition 215. The feds, however, don't recognize medicinal uses for pot and have periodically raided clubs in San Francisco and elsewhere.Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, who helped write San Francisco's permit rules, said Tuesday he wouldn't be surprised if the DEA launches a new crackdown."The feds do as they please ... (and) they've done it before," he said. "I would only hope they would coordinate with local law enforcement and that they are aware of the new regulatory system we have in place, and are sensitive to it."Pena would not comment, saying only that he would discuss the new strategy at a later date.Complete Title: DEA Moves To Pull Pot Out from Under San Francisco Landlords Snipped:Complete Article: http://tinyurl.com/2os9rrSource: San Francisco Chronicle (CA)Author: Phillip Matier and Andrew Ross Published: Tuesday, December 4, 2007Copyright: 2007 Hearst Communications Inc.Contact: letters sfchronicle.comWebsite: http://www.sfgate.com/chronicle/CannabisNews Medical Marijuana Archiveshttp://cannabisnews.com/news/list/medical.shtml

Bluff?

Since when does the DEA give warnings? If they wanted to take the property they could. In San Francisco this will lead to MJ clubs being set up in State owned buildings. One club that closed last year is now just another empty store front full of trash & urine. Is this their goal? Building that are now maintained, to be turned into abandoned store fronts? Yep, that's what we need more of in San Francisco.

Bring out the hemp nets
Bring out the hemp nets and drop them on the DEA! It's not easy to fight or fire a gun when there's a net over you.Net them, disarm them, and take them to court! They're all breaking California state-law!

It's hard to believe that our very own government
wanted and found a way to do this to citizens. It's so wrong.

Neogestapo 2007, believe it!
Yes 40. They were dressed in full dress battle gear that looked like a cross between Hitler's Gestapo and the futuristic soldiers in Star Wars. Most of them were young, and were bursting with attitude. They went through every aspect of our private lives, delving into my wife's personal things. We sat across the room and watched them as they dove into our most intimate life smiling and smirking at each other like dirty minded little middle school boys. Yes, they each carried ultra modern looking automatic weapons. They were all pointed at me and my wife as we stood next to the woodstove. In our robes and pajamas drinking our morning coffee. I did not own one gun, or one weapon. While they held their guns on us, they cleared the perimeter around us of anything that could have been a potential weapon like the hatchet I used to split my firewood and the poker. The two top guys in charge, rounded up everything I had written on my letters tablets all my personal correspondences and writings and page by page went through everything. They took my wife's blackberry or palmpilot, and after going through it for information they confiscated its memory card. One thing that happened and this really happened to the lead officer whose name was Ronald S. Wright. He decided to relieve himself in the yard, after which he came inside and sat in a chair across from me and my wife. My wife nudged me with her elbow and nodded her head toward Officer Wright. I looked over and saw that Officer Wright had forgotten to zip himself. He sat across from us, with his legs spread apart. He gave us a most unsavory view of his diminutive manhood. Later, my wife remarked, I can see why he is so attracted to big guns. In a Freudian sense I think it would be considered ego compensation. This is a true story. I have to tell you though, you would all be so proud of my wife. She was so calm, serene and nonchalant throughout the entire ordeal. I think her demeanor was something of a mystery to these neo-gestapo thugs. Even they could not help but show a little begrudging respect toward her. All of this over a plant. This just goes to show me that there is an element of humankind that can be hired to do anything to anybody for price and our Federal Bumblement is way out of control.

CSA
It was Nixon's plan to create a federal police authority in The verious states. Well he secceded and this is his gift that keeps on giving. You see this is why the original constitution and the Bill of Rights did not allow a federal police force. The founders said this would happen and they were right. The DEA are nothing more than a bunch of gun toting thugs. I met 40 of them one fine day when they all were pointing their machine guns at me and my wife in my home. They were there to conficate my flowers. Oooh tough guys. So scary.

DEA Attempts to Drive Medical Cannabis Underground
Counter-revolutionary buffoons are trying to make medical cannabis and medical cannabis patients less safe by enforcing less regulation and endorsing the black market with medical cannabis controlled by criminal gangs. Shame, shame, shame!
