LOGAN Among the 4,500 hits of acid seized off Utah State University's campus, the 40 marijuana plants found growing in someone's home and the assorted meth labs, a mere 20 marijuana plants may not seem like much.Unless they're growing on Church property!
It caught the attention of narcotics officers in Cache County when they found out the property owner was the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The plants had been found May 13 in a remote area near the translator station up Sardine Canyon. "They were hidden pretty well," said Tri County Narcotics Strike Force Sgt. Greg Ridler. Ridler said agents are not hopeful an arrest will be made.Just a interesting short article! Marijuana grows everywhere even now in the Amish Communities, I've been told! Are they going to raid Amish Farms too?
