The Million Marijuana March went quite well here in Oslo with about 150-300 people (in a city of 500,000 habitants) attending. There was a smoke-inn too and the police just observed from a distance and didn't arrest anyone.
This was the first demonstration / event of this kind here for a very long time, and certainly the first one since I got interested in drugs policies five years ago.I was very inspired by this happening and I'm looking forward to doing an anti-prohibition / general drug policy event (instead of just a cannabis event). It's obvious that the global, anti-prohibition movementwith these international events speeds up the process of reforming international and national drug policies.
