Posted by FoM on December 23, 1998 at 19:12:01 PT Minneapolis -- Minnesota's Court of Appeals has upheld the state's ban on Marijuana. After a conviction on a drug charge, a Twin Cities man challenged the law. He argued that pot growing should be protected under a state provision that allows farming without a license. But the Court of Appeals says the state's anti-marijuana law does not exceed the state's police powers and the state has legitimate authority in imposing restriction on farming.
