My government has been on a campaign to hurt people in the United States over a god given herb. They killed Peter McWilliams and are now asking your government to join in the suffering. They have hurt many people trying to use a medicine that is scientifically proven to be useful in many medical conditions. I am sure our DEA(th) or FBI or CIA squad are behind the arrest of Steve Kubby and Steve Tuck. Both need their medicine and Mr. Kubby may die without his medical marijuana.

Please do not let the US government’s misguided intentions overtake your government to cause more suffering. We need to contain this inhumane behavior at the border. Let Canada be a place of compassion not evil and pain. Let these folks have asylum in your country.

As with Vietnam War Mr. Kubby and Tuck too are seeking peace. They are victims of the War the US government is waging on its own people and the people of the world.

There have been times when our votes have been disregarded and results concealed. Officials have hidden fully valid signed petitions...to be found only after their death.

They treat us wickedly on every hand.

We are persecuted, reviled, belittled, and ignored.

This is not what we were raised to believe America and modern humanity was supposed to be.

It's no wonder so many young people are suicidal. There is no hope of making anything better, it seems. Our leaders are intolerant, lying, deceiving, greedy or weak and cowardly. Truth and the Constitution mean nothing to them. They seem immovable.

I know that eventually truth will prevail and we will win freedom to use the blessed herb as God intended and that the tyrannical practices of the war on drugs will be a thing of the past. It's just, with this arrest, a bit of mourning is required (as well as action).

Every time the antis and their enforcers do something atrocious, I think that, surely, they are in quicksand now and will never worm their way out. I thought that surely they would develop some shame and some conscience when Alberto Sepulveda was murdered, then again when Roni and Charity Bowers were murdered. There have been hundreds and hundreds of less well known deaths caused directly by their drug war zealotry.

The antis, apparently, have no shame, no conscience, no true sense of moral right and wrong. They seem to be brute beasts.

Despite disingenuous claims by DEA chief Asa Hutchinson to the contrary, prohibition itself increases demand. Mr. Anslinger almost singlehandedly, and certainly underhandedly, built an industry and created thousands of mostly white, generally low skilled drug enforcement and incarceration jobs and careers. Note that this happened at a time when Alcohol Prohibition had just ended, putting into question the need to employ those who once enforced those now defunct laws. These babysitters with badges and guns are people that knowingly waste valuable resources that should be used to fight real crime, like the white collar crime that is so obviously infecting our economy, or at least crimes of violence. Marijuana use is not abuse, and must be respected as a right, not treted as a crime.

Recently released audio tapes of President Richard Nixon prove his motivations to suppress the Schafer Commission recommendations were also based in prejudice.

I own 45 percent of Skydive Jamaica, but refuse to open that business because of the corruption on both sides of the law, and disingenuous political pressure from U.S. on this issue. There is definitely a lot of tension in the air. Of course, it doesnt help that i live ~20 miles away from the pentagon. I live in fear that my fiancee will be the victim of the next attack because she works in DC...and make no mistake there will be more attacks...the people we are dealing with are fanatical warmongering slaves of bloodlust and power who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals..i'll leave it up to you to decide whether i am talking about Islamic fundamentalists or the US gov't..i will say this tho..when i say i live in fear, i fear our government more than any person they call a 'terrorist'. Everytime i hear the word terrorist now, I have to laugh because I know what the true goal of this 'war' is. It's complete and total domination over anyone who doesnt agree with Herr Asscroft and Company. The worldwide picture I see is not the one the gov't wants me to see. I dont watch TV anymore because I cannot stand their obvious pandering to the corporate headquarters that sit on Congressional committees. Compared to the ages of European and Asian nations, we are merely teenagers while they are the adults who can only sit and watch our growing pains with sympathy and know that they too went through them. Many teens commit suicide for many different reasons. We are watching the U$A commit suicide on a daily basis. Hang on to your seats kids, this is going to be one hell of a ride.

To all those who have come under the jackboot of our 'democracy' my prayers and sympathies go out to all of you. This policy of caging humans for a plant is quite possibly the largest atrocity commited against mankind and should be treated as such. The Nuremburg trials were a very disturbing thing. I did not want to open the door about the Capitol being attacked on 9/11 even though I thought it. I thought at first I might say they did us a favor, like a trillion dollars worth of improvement to take-off our South Carolina jokes. Then I thought to say, if they had wanted the Capitol so bad they could have gotten it first, but the reason they didn't is because we are the enemy and they did not want to help us. These are two great men here. Great activists. People who do great big favors on a daily basis. They are also two seriously ill patients. This is so wrong. I am so angry.

Canadians ought to be impressed by the facts and here they are:

Kubby was diagnosed with adrenal cancer in 1978, and has used cannabis steadily as a medicine since that time. No other patient with adrenal cancer has ever survived as long as Kubby.

He has a right to live. He's kept himself alive his way all this time and any interference by the DEA or RCMP or anyone else is only criminal.

Sechelt, BC. At 930 am PST, Canadian immigration, along with RCMP officers showed up at the Kubby and Tuck residences to take both men into custody.

Michele Kubby and Lucy Tuck remain free.

The Kubby and Tuck immigration attorney has informed us that both men must have a hearing within 48 hrs. The hearing likely will take place in Vancouver. Both men could potentially be held overnight.

These raids seem to have started because of the recent media attention on Canadian national TV, local papers, and FOX TV news.

The seriousness of the situation has to do with Steve Kubby. Because Steve Tuck uses approved medications, he was able to take his medications with him.

Steve K. is again in a life and death situation while in custody. The officers would not allow him to take any medicine with him, nor would they allow him to medicate before he left. We have potentially only hours to save him.

What worked before was massive intervention. We need your help. Steve's life is on the line.
