Posted by FoM on August 18, 2001 at 10:55:20 PT By Jennifer Thomas, HealthScoutNews Source: USA Today When Irvin Rosenfeld was a boy, he was stricken with a rare disease that caused tumors to grow on his bones, leaving him in constant, crippling pain. If you believe a lie doesn't that make it true. That is what politicians think. As long as people believe them they will keep on lieing. Cannabis does not cause lung cancer. I know someone who has smoked Cannabis and Tobacco for over 30 years and they still don't have cancer. [ Post Comment ] |

Smoking pot, the opponents note, increases your risk of lung cancer and emphysema. It can also produce serious side effects, including memory impairment and severe anxiety. It disgusts me that statements like the above are still quoted as fact. The emphysema claim has been disproven by Tashkin's work. There was recently a report indicating that marijuana does not cause lung cancer. The memory impairment and severe anxiety are merely reefer madness. Why is it that the anti's are always quoted as having the facts, even though they lie consistently? [ Post Comment ] |
