cannabis There are two obvious clues something strange is going on in this drab little house across from an elementary school. One is the skunk-like smell. The other is the electric bill. "Right now they're drawing 16,000 kilowatts," said Sgt. Tom Cork. "That's five times what the average house uses." Time to call in the Growbusters.

Shortly after 9 a.m., Cork and five other Vancouver police officers loudly announce themselves, pile through the front door as it opens a crack and handcuff three Vietnamese men inside.

Cop = electricity expert?

Hmmm... 16,000 kilowatts. That is 16 megawatts, which if drawn at the highest average household voltage (240 volts) would be over 66,000 amperes!!! The wires needed to transmit this current would have to be the size of tree trunks (if a transformer could even be designed to produce this kind of current).

So, according to Cork-Head, the average household electical load is 3.2 megawatts, which means you would have to be running the equivalent of 2,133 1500-watt heaters simultaneously (or 640 5,000-watt central air conditioning units.)

Obviously, Cork-Head knows about as much about electricity as he does about pot.

Back the Badge, people!! Heaven forbid we should get knowledgeable people to sign up for police academy!

profits..
these large organizations are anathema to me...the bigger
the profits, the greater the danger of
violence...legalization would reduce the criminal elements
involved...

growing our own should be the right of everyone...and if you
can't or don't want to go to the trouble, a pack of
alcapulco gold filters should be as close as the nearest
liquor store...

i hope GWB(the shrub) gets it...if not, he and his one world
crowd will find themselves separated from the real world by
tall walls and armed guards...permanently...
