drug_testing Alarmed by rising use of Ecstasy and other "party drugs" by military personnel at bases nationwide and abroad, the services are striking back by increasing random drug testing, booting out first-time offenders and court-martialing anyone caught selling narcotics.

Although the number of personnel who test positive for drug use still is tiny in an active-duty force of 1.4 million, military brass are worried that the growing popularity of a new crop of drugs will reverse the military's two-decade-long pattern of declining drug use among its troops.

scared
In think its sick that the military is more worried about pot smoking than people going out and getting hammered at a bar and coming to work on surface to air missle systems. My captain just did a shipwide drug test and I got news for him "2/3 of your crew have smoked pot in the last 6 months and we still get complimented for great work and dedication.
Damn those potheads what a bunch of losers

what army?
They might have to reinstate the draft before long if they are going to test more. Everyone I've ever known in the service smoked the herb.

Trained killers using ecstacy? I can appreciate the irony in that, considering I couldnt kill a fly when im rolling.
And whats this about the worlds supply of E coming from Belgium? Im betting there are at least 5 labs in every major city in North America.
Light up and Live.
