I think your leadership has made a difference, and I am grateful to you, and I am particularly grateful about the hope you expressed to the American people as to the progress that we have made. And you know I perhaps could have been wiser in reference to my criticism of General McCaffrey on not using the word "war," because I didn't mean to get into a semantical battle.
